(Topeka, Kan.) – From October 5-9, Kansas will host its statewide Apply Free Days. During the Apply Free Days, Kansas residents may apply for undergraduate admissions at any of the state’s public universities, community colleges or technical colleges, as well as Kansas’ independent colleges, with no application fee.
Prospective students can start and save an application any time. As long as they submit the application between Monday, October 5 and 5 p.m. on Friday, October 9, they will not have to pay a fee. Residents of Kansas who are prospective first-time freshmen, transfer students or returning students are all eligible to participate.
Students who are unsure what option is best for them can use tools such as DegreeStats.kansasregents.gov to explore the cost of various degrees, along with the expected earnings. Apply Free Days resources and information are available at kansasregents.gov/applyfree.
This year marks an expansion of the Apply Free Days from three to five days.
